Yucaipa Music & Nightlife: June 20-26

So it's officially summer this week - and HOT! I recommend finding someplace air-conditioned to hang out (or at least cooler than here in the valley). Note: all entries subject to change. Call to confirm the bands and cover price.

This Week in Local Theater :
  • nada
Friday, June 20
  • Los Rios Rancho: Gospel Night. The Riley family, guest singers and musicians lead the crowd in the old packing shed in gospel music. Bring your old hymnal to make requests if you like! Free (donation if desired).
  • Hickory Ranch Steakhouse: karaoke
  • Angel's Roadhouse: RPM, free (?), 21+
Saturday, June 21
  • Set Free Church (13700 Calimesa Blvd): Celebrate Set Free's 15th anniversary Car & Bike Show, with classic cars and motor cycles, live music, and BBQ. 10am-3pm. Registration is $20 online or $25 at the event. The public can attend free.
  • Los Rios Rancho: Bluegrass on the Green with the O'Brien Family Band and Riley's Mountaineers. Preshow activities 2pm-5pm, show starts at 5pm. Reservations are $20 for adults, $10 for children 3-12, and include the concert plus an outdoor BBQ Chicken Supper (adults) or hot dog (children). Proceeds benefit the Desi Geestman Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support to pediatric cancer patients & their families. Buy tickets from the Desi Geestman Foundation.
  • Shorter's Bar & Grill: karaoke with KJ Karaoke Scott, 9pm-midnight
  • Angel's Roadhouse: Part Like a Rockstar with DJ Miracle Whip, 21+

  • Shorter's: karaoke with KJ Karaoke Scott, 8pm-midnight

This isnt Yucaipa but Smashmouth is going to be at the Stewart Park (9th and Orange) in Beaumont on the 25th of June at 7-9. Bring blankets/lawn chairs. Concert is FREE.

Im going to try to be there. Hey, it's free. Why not?

Bo Bice is supposed to be there later this summer along with several other semi-famous bands. Look on Beaumont's website.
