Around Yucaipa: Yucaipa Music & Nightlife: September 14-20

For you readers who are paying attention, I did indeed miss last weekend's news post. This weekend will be a special two-week edition.

Friday, September 14

After-School Concert: Sponsored by the Set Free Church, music provided by local rappers Brown King, and Nine Up and local rock band Ed Gein's Guide to Romance (their Myspace profile says they "started in the Summer of 2007", so this is probably one of their first gigs. Go give them some love!) The concert is in the Sizzler parking lot (map), 2:45 pm-4:00pm.
Yucaipa Street Fair (California St.): may or may not have entertainment, but worth checking out, 6pm-9pm
Praising in the Park (Yucaipa Community Park): last week's show was canceled due to the storm, so it's on tonight with ministry by Abundant Life, 6pm-8pm. For more information see Bear Witness Ministries web site.
Hickory Ranch Steakhouse: karaoke
Eagles Aerie: karaoke, 7pm-11pm.
