I've just come across the calendar of events at the Yucaipa Branch Library.

For Kids
• Paws to Read (K-3) - Tuesday, October 3
• Grandma Reads Stories - Thursdays at 10 AM
• Preschool Story Time - Thursdays at 11 AM
• Afternoon Story and Craft Hour - Thursday October 5 and October 19 at 4 PM
• Halloween Story Hour - Thursday October 26, 4 PM

For Teens
• Teen Read Week, October 16-21
Highlight: "Worst Case Scenario" game, Wednesday, October 18, 3:30 PM

For Adults
In addition to the weekly events for kids and teenagers, there are monthly events for adults, including:

• Evening Book Club - second Tuesday of the month, next meeting at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 10. This month's book is Tortilla Curtain by T. C. Boyle.

• Afternoon Book Club - first Wednesday of the month, next meeting at 3:30 PM Wednesday, October 4. The book is John Adams by David McCullough.

Sunday: Closed
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10 AM -8 PM
Friday: 10 AM - 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM
